Reza joined the Flow Noise Group us for just over 5 Months as a visiting PhD student from Isfahan University of Technology, Iran. Prof Sohankar is his supervisor. Reza’s project was on active flow and noise control from wall-mounted square cylinders. Reza chose our group because of the fundamental work we have done in bluff body flow control and noise generation, so his work was a great fit with our interests. Reza really impressed us with his work ethic and ability to generate so many experimental results in a very short time. This is especially impressive because his experience is in numerical simulations. Reza was also a great guy to have in the lab and we all enjoyed his stay very much. We wish him all the best in his PhD defence!
